    Making some new water tubes can't remember what alloy to use 6061 5052 ? Thanks

    Either will do fine, but 5052 is the strongest aluminum alloy in the dead-soft condition, which is what you will end up with near any welds.

    I thought the 60 series had more abrasion resistance, but could be wrong.
