    Default GSXR Spline Info

Does anyone know the info on the spline for the transmission output shaft so I can make a drawing of an adapter? I know it is a 25mm 13 tooth, but obviously need more info than that for the machine shop. Really don't want to go with another Hawk aluminum one since I sheared the teeth of the last one and the steel ones from Peter D racing are on backorder too far to make my next race.

Chris - is the 600 the same size as the 1000? If so, I have a stock 1000 17 tooth that I could loan you. Drop me a note at farrout@knology.net

I have a stock gear, but I was hoping some one new the full spline call out for a machine drawing including the tolerances for the fitment. I think there was some overlap between the 1000 and 600 on the output shaft dimensions depending on the year.

    Default I went through this...

    Hi Chris,

I went through the same thing and found that the Suzuki shifter shafts are essentially all the same size. Ebay is a good source here.

The sprocket splines are the same for the 600 and the 1000 Suzuki.

    Chris,

I have used Randy who used to make sprockets for sprocket specialists to make me custom sprockets in the past. He is already tooled to do the splines and maybe he can make your adapters for you. He can be reached at 888.347.7262.

Have you considered welding your adapter to a std sprocket?

Just curious Chris, what kind of adapter are you talking about?
