Default Water flow in GSXR 600

Could someone confirm the water flow in a GSXR 600. I believe it to exit the head under the intake, go to thru the cooling system, back through the water pump, and enter the block under the exhaust headers. Is this correct?

    That's how it goes on a GSXR1000

Remember,.......always out from the thermostat housing.

Bottom of the radiator goes to the water pump inlet. The outlet where the thermostat is goes to the water swirl tank and then the outlet hose from the swirl tank goes to the top of the radiator. All other factory hoses on the engine remain the same except for the factory oil cooler hoses and the oil cooler itself, which is replaced with a blanking plate and all hoses for the factory cooler are removed and the hose fittings are plugged.

Also make sure that the swirl tank is higher than the head and that the vent from the thermostat housing goes near the top of the swirl tank.

Sounds complicated but it is essentially the same for every engine installation.
