Default FST vs. FV parts weight?

Anyone have a rough estimate on the difference in weight between FST specific parts vs. Fv parts? Just talking about the conversion parts, all other things being equal..
    Thanks in advance..

Dave, I have been going through this exercise lately and near as I can figure it looks like a FST has to be about 20 lbs heavier than the same chassis as an FV. Will happily defer to one of the FST guys, tho.

Thanks Stan. I assume that the BJ beam with rotors and calipers weighs a bit more, just not sure how much and I don't have any calipers on hand yet..

That 20 lbs is pretty close. Close enough to use it for calcs.

That's why converted FV's need lots of ballast. There is about 80 lbs of "variable" for extra side protection, steel floors and rotund drivers

    Default weight

I vaguely remember weighing everything coming and going on the 1st FST I built. Even posted numbers on the old FST site. 30 lbs seems more like it what I remember. The engines are at least ten pounds heavier--just the crank weighs 4 lbs more. Rods Pistons, cylinders, clutch disc and plate, lifters and especially the intake system are heavier. Dry sumps add typically 3-4 lbs.

The most surprising thing is the front discs and calipers were very close with the drums. Again the exact numbers are gone.
