Have not heard but I do recall parts of the track sounded like I was driving a snowplow with the blade down on wet pavement instead of an FC.

only ten?? if you were only going to work on one corner, anyone who's driven the track would say it has to be turn 8!!

The rumor was they were going to pave 7-10. After reading the latest SOVREN Bulletin Board message they've put off all paving on 7-9 until a "later" date. 10 is done at this time though.

Turn 10 was re-paved to eliminate that nasty drainage problem when wet.......know the puddle just stays there ........

    Default Turns 7 -10

When looking at the chart of the proposed changes to be made on the road course, turn 8 will no longer be a 180 degree change of course flowing towards turn 9. It will be made straight at the now normal apex and head westerly a short distance before turning to the south (new turn 9) to pick up the straight as we know it with a new turn 10) So, I expect that management would be reluctant to place new pavement where it will be dug up perhaps within a year or so. The King County Council has approved the $60 million improvements which we will eventually benefit from I hope. However there will no longer be the long straight which many of us use for the draft. The west end of that straight will be changed also.
