    Default Van Deimen FF vs. FC hubs

    Gents;

    Are the Van Diemen:
    • RF90-92 LH/RH Magnesium Rear Uprights (casting 90D0005) the same units used on the RF-94/95?
    • RF90-92 LH/RH Magnesium Rear Uprights (casting 90D0005) the same units used on the FF1600 as on the RF-94/95 FC?
    I have spoken to a vendor, and they intimate they have different machining. Any truth to this?

    They are machined differently 1600 vs 2 litre. The bottom hole is in a different location. The 2 litre top stud to bottom hole distance is closer together than the 1600 upright. This certainly is true for Rf94-96 2 litre spec uprights vs 90-94 1600 spec uprights. I do not know about 90-93 2 litre uprights, it has been a while since I saw one of those cars in original spec.
