Default TIG welding at VIR April 11-14th

    Hi sports fans,
Just a note that I will be available for TIG welding services at the VIR pro series event, April 11-14th. I have my own machine & can do ferrous & non-ferrous metals (but not carbon fiber, not yet at least). Look for me at the Tim Kautz trailer, F1600 #88.
    Looking forward to VIR
    thanks, nick

Sure John, if there's time. Bring a welding helmet if you have one.

Have several, as well as mig, tig and stick welders.

EJ, I am not retired, that is for old people. If I was, there would not be any racecars in the shop just don't tell my wife

I'll look you up. I have a cracked aluminum hinge on the trailer door. Can you get up near 200 amps? We failed at 125.

    Mike,
My machine does go to 200 amps, but I would need 20 amp 230 volt service. I don't know if anyone there will have that much amperage available from a generator, or if there are any 230v outlets in the garage. There is a race shop/team that is at the gate of VIR, they have let me use their shop before. So if we can find the needed power, I would be happy to help. BTW, smaller jobs I can run the machine on 110v household current. We might have a garage this weekend, (Kautz racing).
DaVinci ? LOL, thanks. Only happy to help.
