    Default Laguna Seca Roll Call

Hey everybody - getting to within a few weeks of the Laguna race, round 1 of the west coast series proper. Who's in?

Right now I see me, Jose, and Lucian in the Stohr brigade. Pretty sure John Labrie will be there, and I think Rod Rice as well, in his BRD/Stohr, so that's 5 right there.

Who else is in for some grins?

    -Jake

Possible Larry Vollum and Gary Hickman will be there. If Lucian is there Denis Cosin will most likey be as well.

Wouldn't be surprised if Nicholas Woodman decides at the last second to appear either. Normally he attends this event (has last two-three years) but waits until last minute to sign up.

Good news is there looks to be extra race for our group that weekend. So three races for the price of two.

Oh yeah, I'm in. Hickman is also supposed to be there, and hopefully Larry comes down too.

Could be a good crowd - hey JRO, you joining us?

Coop, we'd love to have you, and Anna would like Monterey.
    BTW, congrats on your win!

Our new 2013 Phoenix is close to being ready, we're in final assembly now and hope to have it on its wheels next week. If it happens we will be at Laguna.

For any of those that have been there, do you have any notes or suggestions for top speed and/or gearing?

Series admin contact at Rounds 3 & 4 Laguna seca will be Thomas Copeland.

His direct mobile number is 510-565-4784

If you are needing to reach him you may want to text your message and your name, for him to reach you back as it will be hard to hear the phone ring trackside.

After Q1, Jake Latham takes the pole with a 1:26.424!
    P2-Lucian Pancea
    P3-Denis Costin
    P4-John LaBrie
    P5-Rod Rice
    P6-Larry Vollum
    P7-Jose Gerardo.
Vollum had the fastest lap at 1:25.9 but ran afoul of the restrictive sound requirements at Laguna and was DQed.
Gerardo lost an oil plug in practice and was in the middle of an engine swap during Q and had no official time.
Both Vollum and Rice are now running the new Kawasaki engine.
The first of THREE races is tomorrow at 10:30 am Pacific time.
