    Default considering tire brand change

    Hello all,

    We are considering running Hoosiers on our PFM at some club events this year. As many may know the PFM typically runs on GY radials. So with the contemplated change in view can anyone share some insight on the following questions please;

    1. Has anyone out there also made a switch?
    2. If so, how did it go?
    3. What compound did you run? (Bias or Radials)
    4. What tire size did you run?
    5. Does Hoosier give out tire data that includes slip angles and hot pressure targets similar to what GY provides?
    6.Does anyone know a Hoosier Representative that we may contact who also may be able to shed some light on the topic?

    Thanks in advance folks.

    Last time I looked Hoosier didn't make tire that would fit, Cooper is now supplying the tires for Pro Formula Championship series.

    Thanks Havoc, I am aware of the tire change for the pro series. sadly, if a guy runs the new cooper tires he will find that he has to re spring the car! with the new tires a guy needs to buy 1000's through 1400's lb. springs to make them work.

    And you are spot on about the Hoosiers. thanks again, I appreciate your reply.
