Default FF 45th Festival in the US?

After seeing the other thread about the FF 45th Festival, got me asking if there will be one in the US? Thoughts and /or any information out there?

To a Texan, pumping is just something done in hope to strike oil.

I guess Texans are more different then I knew. I always thought you would drill to find the oil then you'd pump it out to use it.

Funny you should ask. I just made a post about such an event being hosted by RMVR in conjunction with our annual charity event. Yes, RMVR is a vintage organization, but we're anxious to invite all formula fords. Here's a link to the complete info our the event. Come join us and help us spread the word. If you haven't run High Plains Raceway, here's your chance.

I haven't run HPR yet, but I did attend the Enduro event there last Oct., as a spectator. I had wanted to see the track for some time, and hoped to drive it one day. After seeing it, I really wanted to drive it! The track looks to be a great drive, and from what I saw, RMVR is a really good organization, with lots of great people. Plus, HPR actually seemed to like having visitors - we stopped by a few days ahead just to take a look!

We go to Colorado most every July 4th week, (summers are fantastic in the mountains) this year we are planning to bring the racecar with and stay until the 27/28th for event.

Steve, thanks for the posting and endorsement of HPR. Look forward to seeing you at the Charity event. As noted in the event promo, we're quite willing to work out storage for out-of-state race cars trailer/rig while if you wish to enjoy the Colorado mountains before/after the race weekend. Just let us know your needs ahead of time.

Let me know if you have any other questions about the weekend and please feel free to invite some of your other FF friends to come and join the fun. I've already received some inquires from some Canadian FF racers. So, we're probably going to have folks from all over.

    Cheers,
