Sunoco joins US Formula 1000 East!
Sunoco Race Fuels has joined the US Formula 1000 East Championship in 2013 and will be backing the Sunoco Hard Charger Award. The Sunoco Hard Charger Award will be a cash prize that will be paid at every race on the 2013 schedule. Over the first five weekends and first ten races, the driver that advances the most positions from his official qualifying position to his official race finish position will win $150 per race. A grand total of $1,500 will be paid out during the regular season. At the season-ending Runoffs at Road America, Sunoco will sweeten the pot even more. During the 2013 finale, the Sunoco Hard Charger will win $500!
Qualifying position will not include any penalties or tardiness to the grid. Finishing position WILL include any penalties or DQs.
