    Default Finally done!

It has been a busy couple of month's, but I think she's ready. I just wanted to say thank's to my dad for all his help, and Rick Klotz for the awesome paint, also James LEE for the set up and Roland Butler for a bad a$$ engine.

That's a beauty. I obviously missed the back story. The finished project looks stunning...guide me to your original post as I am interested in the process.

    Enjoy...

Bob, there never was a original post. I did a frame up on the car after the motor blew at the S.I.C.

Oooh... I feel like such a Johnny Come Lately... Since I am in the northeast, its likely I will never see it in person, but the job you did looks fantastic.

Really looks sharp, Mike. Love the paint [Kudos to Rick]. When are you coming to the north end of things this year?

PS: I'd tell everyone that was my mom's bike too. [ha,Ha]

Very nice looking car, but does the exhaust pipe comply to the rules? It looks like it might extend too far behind the rear axle centerline.

Stan, it's a new pipe and i'm going to cut it back this weekend. Even if it was legal I would still cut back in fear of getting pegged in back of car.

Thank's Tom, I have always admired your work, Do you still make Crossle nose's in your spare time?

    Default Consider .....

.....this optional design - slightly longer tail, reduces tail pipe and modified airbox ($$$ lol)

    Default Crossle 45F

Burky, Thanks for posting the photos. Very nice. I hope mine looks as good some day. I assume the NACA ducts on the engine side covers are for rear brake cooling?? is the exhaust SS or mild steel?

I am a little surprised you don't run an oil cooler. My car came without an oil cooler. I ran one shake down test day with it and had oil temps above 200 deg. F on a 40 deg. day. I was planning to install a water to oil HX. I may have to check my gauge first!

    Cheers, Joe

I would check your gauge. Yes on the naca duct's, and the pipe's are mild steel.
