    Good Day Greg/Charles,

Doug will be coming to Spokane, he has become the fourth in our trailer this year as Bill is moving his car to Infineon for the year.

I'll br bringing the Juno down as well - save us a parking space!

The spot worked great last year if you can fit us there again.

See you soon, get the beer in the fridge and call me if you need anything.

    Cheers
    Miles

PS I did not get the newsletter, just because I bought an SR and sold my FC does not mean you have to exclude me!!

I think someone in Northern California should invest in some sort of transport device and haul all the FC's up here for a couple weekends a year.

I am working on getting back into a FC asap, but probably won't make Spokane this year.
You know something is wrong when work gets in the way of racing, obviously I don't have my priorities right. Working on that too.

Michael I believe I found your correct email and have sent you the news letter. I also believe I have corrected all but two of the incorrect emails I had.

I have a couple of people who I have old email addresses for that got bounced back and I do not have info on their cars either; got their info long before the newsletter group was being formed so if anyone has current contact info for Gord Leach or Ed Scheide I would appreciate it. Or maybe they have moved on from FC at this point, so does anyone know if they still have cars?

Also still looking for contact info for John Hill too.

And this: "gord leach emerald park, alberta ca."

Maybe this: Edward and Nancy Scheid Gig Harbor, wa 425?-(853-6843) or 253 219 2191

    Default FC Drivers

Gord Leach is out of Regina, Saskatchewan and I don't believe he has his FC any longer. He only runs vintage FF (Lotus) as for as I know

Thanks for your efforts in collecting names and communicating with the PNW FC group. It is very much needed and appreciated.

I'd say it depends a lot on how soon it can be put to rights again...

And I say that, Brad, in the knowledge that I too have a car that is in need of repair.

I agree with that. Ed had a BEAUTIFULLY restored Reynard and decided to sell it and go build an airplane instead of racing it.

We picked up a couple of spare Reynard wheels he had laying in his garage at the time. I think his Reynard ended up back in Europe.

Here it is in case you're interested:

    Manila Huh? Great city!!!

I was there for a weekend once during the Vietnam War. Favorite moment was when an 83 year old woman sat on my lap in a bar and told me the story's of when she was a gorilla fighter against the Japanese occupation army!

Not too long after that I took a week long leave in Manila (good times). But also spent a memorable day in Quezon City drinking beer and eating chicken in the restaurant of the Mayor. His son served aboard my ship.

Fond memories of a wonderful people. What are you doing in Manila???

I just sent out the July/August newsletter for those on the list that have cars or should have cars by next year. There is a survey attached. If you think that you should have received this version of the newsletter but did not or you would like to be included in the mailing list please pm me.

Greg/Charlie - can you add me to your list?

I've got a '84 Reynard that is currently FF, but used to be FC - all the bits are sitting in the garage if I decided to swap it back.

    Default It's all so confusing!

GP was Greg Pizzo (I edited it away though) Greg, I'm sorry but my spell checker says your last name is not Pizzo but Pizza. Do you mind?
Gary Poole is indeed a FF driver, not FC but who knows?

Greg Pizzo, guys at Howe Racing are less than responsive sometimes but if I actually call them they get back to me.
I'll call them and see where we're at. I still have your drawings here, right in front of me...so no excuse. Although an un-named customer may be getting into Monterey Pre-Reunion and the main event a week later as well which means we have less than a week to make things good with his car. Oh, and transport it there as well.
I'll work on this the beginning of next week.

with all the iterations you can make of my last name "thin skin" is not an option ..
just curious tho still .... I read all the posts leading yours and still don’t understand the "Speaking of G.P. ..... " what brought me into this thread ?

Lawrence, you should talk your unnamed customer into selling unnamed car and getting an unnamed FC to come out and have fun. Depending on who unnamed customer is it might really piss my dad off which is always good fun. Or at least force him to drive better... You know like not getting pole the first day at Spokane.

Un-named customer's wife says NO! to OW racing of any kind.
Besides, who wants some 22 YO kid racing/beating our pants off? He's doing pretty good in SRF and will be at the Run-Offs I believe.
