Default Proud to be a Field filler.

I aspire to be a field filler and Damn proud of it!

I took Driver's schools back in the early 90's, I was fast....Too fast for my own good, 2 wrecks in 2 schools both un-avoidable, but my fault just the same.

So I learned my lessons. autocrossed my butt off, I went dirt track racing for 5 years, learned about car control (throwing a 3500lb truck bodied race car around a dirt track teaches you car control. I got so I was pretty good at it.), I raced a legends car and qualified to race the INEX national finals in the Master's class. I matured and now.....

I am looking to go FV racing again. ONLY this time I am going to be extreemly happy racing for 5th, 10th or whatever position I can get. I have been out of the racing community for far too long and am beside myself about being able to get back into it.
I will be taking my required driver's schools again (this time with a different attitude) then I can be back out there having fun taking my car and myself to "our" limits.

For the "serious racers" out there I will watch my mirrors and point you by. If I get racey and can compete with the mid packers I'll be having the time of my life. Who knows if I get lucky I may even break the top five, But where ever I finish I will be the one with the biggest smile on my face because I'm out on the track! Not on the sidelines.

I know some of you might not like a driver that has no dreams of being the "best", being number 1, but I am happy with being the best at having a great time and getting out of my car saying "hey 10th aint bad! Did you see that pass for 10th?".

    Hello G

Welcome back I did the same thing last season after being away for 34 years from
formula vee , the season unfortuately ended prematurely due to a wreck. i am looking forward to this season . Its nice having a Masters Class in ours series , and the
tire rule keeps the costs down , take look at our web site F1200.com.

    Cheers

    Desmond
