Default 2012 Australian Formula Vee National Titles

Attached are pictures of the 2012 Australian Formula Vee National Titles held at Wakefield Park in New South Wales on the last weekend of October.
Daniel Reynolds (Car 1) won the 1600 class in sensational circumstances, (see the picture without nosecone) while Stephen Butcher finally won the 1200 class after 20 years of trying.
The videos (all eleven of the heats and finals) will be up soon.

As promised, here are highly professional videos of the 1200 and 1600 class heats for the 2012 Australian Formula Vee National Titles. The finals will follow soon.
The heats started slowly (figuratively) but the excitement builds up as the heats progressed.
The finals were more exciting than the Brazilian F1 GP!

Link to the 1200 class final.

The highlight is the first lap incident that spun out the two leaders, allowing David Cutts in his Historic spec Vee (perhaps six horsepower less) to take the lead. Could he hold on to it for the entire race?

The video of the sensational 1600 final will be posted on Monday after its debut at the Formula Vee Association of New South Wales Presentation Night on Saturday evening.
Before then, link to the last of the 1600 heats, Groups B and C.

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rWirX...&feature=share

The groupings are determined after qualifying, where the cars are nominated as A, B, C, D, A, B, C, D, etc down the qualifying sheet. Each group then races each other group once. Points are awarded based on the finishing order of each heat, and the points totals comprise the final grid.
