We really need one master list before this gets messy. Since my post is the first and easiest to find on the thread I'll try to keep up with the edited list. Just keep posting and I'll do my best to update it. Unless Jaltaman wants to take over the list (which is very fine with me!), I can delete my list and we can work with his. I just don't want it to get out of control. We need only one list and we should number each entry.

I see my buddy Jim Goughary on there and he basically tested the DP04 car one time.
I'd love to see him run w/ us, but it was a one-off drive in FB. Hell yeah he liked it!

I will be driving for Brian Utt in his new Carbir FB that is currently being assembled. The plan is to do the Mike B series provided there are not any schedule conflicts.

This is something Brian and I have been working on for a while now, but we both feel comfortable enough to make it public. It's like being out of your first trimester of pregnancy, safe to start telling folks! It has been hard to keep it under wraps, as I am very excited about the car, class, and the Mike B series. I can't wait to get out and join the FB community!!

Sean McCLure has a DP04. Ron Ignatowski converted his RF95 to Suzuki by using a lot of the original bellhousing and a jackshaft. He's rather frustrated with it.

Thanks for the offer Juan - this is one of the main reasons I like this class as much as I do. Seems people are just happier over in FB land. When we get bored at night can we run our tow vehicles on the dyno? Wonder what a diesel pusher makes at the rear wheels?

As for the Carbir car, and I will have to defer to Brian for more exact details, but it is a new Carbir, not a conversion. Jay Novak joined the effort to assist in the design work with his vast bike powered car knowledge. One of the many things that I like about the new Carbir FB chassis is that it will be a universal engine bay - meaning that you won't need to redesign the back half of the car when switching to a new engine. It will use intermediate brackets to mount the engine - weld up some new brackets and you got yourself an easy engine change.

PS. You won't find anything on the new Carbir chassis on Google.

yeah, ya know what, Ive never had a truck on the dyno, it be funny to run it if, a dually wont fit past the 4 post lift columns though. An FB on a Dyno is awesome too

Anyways, tell your Team Owner that we can give him a super deal at GingerMan for testing during the week, Hoosier also comes out 3-4 times a year a truck full and Gilvan, Foss, maybe we can make those dates available to other teams as well here on Apex and its usually sunny.

The Novak NovaDiemen FB F1000/FC conversion has a similar setup, Piontek makes engine mount and off you go

If you're talking about the Novak conversion, the third sprocket is a chain tensioner.

With 6 cars in Florida, and at least twelve in the SEDIV, if half of those show up for the WinterNationals in Florida, that would be a nice turnout.

It should also be noted that the Homestead Double Rational is cancelled, and is now at Palm Beach on January 11-13. It is a double rational if I am reading this correctly.
