Just a quick note to catch up with the Formula First crowd. We did not get to run the amount of races we wanted to with FST this year. We had to make decisions about our resources and we directed them towards the Southern Superstars Late Models. Jared ended up 6th in points out of 38 drivers and runner up in Rookie of the Year. Partly as a result of this Jared is testing a NASCAR Camping World Truck on Nov. 5th at Dillon SC. and working towards running some truck races.
We do miss the group and enjoyed racing the series when we could. There is no doubt some of the best drivers we have competed against are in FST. The new video is great and we hope 2013 is a great year for the class and the series. Jared is keeping his SCCA license in place and given the opportunity we hope to run some FST races again.

Wow !!! Sounds like a great opportunity.I hope it turns out for the best. I'm pretty sure "rubbin' is racin",in that series,so get a big hammer and plenty of duct tape. Best of luck.

The test went really good. It was an awesome experience to drive that kind of race car. I really enjoyed the opportunity and it has opened several opportunities in 2013 to race in the NASCAR Camping World Truck series. I have my NASCAR rookie seminar at the end of February and have the opportunity to possibly race Bristol, Iowa, and/or Martinsville in 2013.

Hopefully everything goes good and all of this pans out. Thank you all for the support!

We have been working on a stock car road course car for dad, so hopefully I will see the FST community while I play crew chief when dad gets to have some fun at a road course in 2013!!
