    Default Formula 3 Oval Racing?...

    ...well, not a complete oval, just 1 banking and the long pit straight at the EuroSpeedway Lausitz or really the correct name Lausitzring in Germany. A similar set-up when the old Formula 1 Grand Prix was at Indianapolis.

    The German Formula 3 Championship has been visiting this venue every year since 2006, and even though a Formula 3 car was obviously not a pure oval machine, the EuroSpeedway did help produce revised aerodynamic parts and cooling ducts for other high-speed circuits on the calendars like Spa, Monza, Silverstone, Suzuka, etc.

    (take note of the 2 different types of neatly-design cooling ducts on the SLC R1's radiator covers)

    Cool pictures from the Lausitzring Finish Line of all Dallara F305's besides the last 2 images being F302's can you spot the subtle differences.

    ...depending upon the engine layout, the airbox can be located on either side of the car. In this case the F302 singular (and pic #3, #10 of the F305) has an Opel engine where the airbox is behind the cars in the pictures. I caught my own mistake, but the last car the orange one is an F305 model.

    Visually, on the F305 Series, the nose cone is higher and wider, and some have a front bridge wing under the tub which is rarely used. Some cars have a flat front damper cover which is for the twin damper system, (the large hump on some covers is for the monoshock system).

    The F305 has larger barge boards, floor extensions jettisoning out the front corner of the sidepods. The sidepods are also larger, higher and more squared-off, higher cockpit sides, rear tire ramps, and 2 different engine covers options. And that's just for the skin of the car.
