    Default Ralt RT40 Nose Cone

    I have a Swift DB9 nose cone for sale,, Looks good, straight .. It`s sold (( AS IS )) So look at the pictures close so that YOU know what your buying.. Cleaning up shop and have some wheel haves and centers, engine adp. plates and so much more,, Asking $800.00 or best offer...

    I was told it was a swift nose cone, but it looks like the ralt RT40 one more then anything, its off a formula atlantic car.. Thanks for the help !!!!!

    No such animal - at least not what I've ever heard of or can find any reference to.

    The nose shape is more reminiscent of a '70's vintage car (pre-Swift), though none at that time were made using honeycomb that I know of. It's not an ADF nose either.

    Could be the nose box for a Swift DB4 but it looks too big for that in the pictures.Could be a Euroswift nose box as well for a later FF.

    Nope - not even close. It had a round, pointed nose - bullet-shaped is a close description.

    The Indy car noses of the time were much more robust - that nose would never pass the crash test. Never mind the fact that the steering rack was behind the second of 2 bulkheads - this nose is for a car with the rack as well as the forward leg of the lower a-arm on the front of the front bulkhead.

    I think you may be right. The rack holes and upper mounting bolt holes are in the right place, and the rest of the shape look right.
