Does anyone know the correct manual that will tell us how to change the radial positioning of the "piggy-back" reservoir on an 8760 damper?
Can't seem to find it in the on-line manual.
Thanks,
Chris

Just clamp it in a vise and pry the reservoir. Commonly done.
Penske makes a clamping block that you use to lock the body in a vise. You must have the top bearing screwed in place when you do this. Then use a large adjustable wrench to loosen the end cap of the shock enough to move the canister to a new position. You might be able to clamp the top of the shock in a 3 or 6 jaw lathe chuck. But I would recommend that you make a clamp block or buy the parts from Penske.
The canister ring is clamped between the main body and the end cap of the shock. There are 2 o-rings that seal the joint. If you let the pressure out of the canister, you can loosen the body and the cap quite a lot without leaking.
