Default First "fe" race for reece.

Reece had his first Formula Enterprise race this weekend at Mid Ohio in the splendor of the fall colors (see photo attached).

Qualy was a mess alround because of a damp track with lots of spins including Reece, full yellows, black flag the lot..... (no damage) In the race on Sat he finished 19th in a field of 28 "wings n things" and on Sunday qualy race finished 11th. The Sunday feature race put me in that awkward position of rains or slicks......the race was called wet while we sat on the false grid after a short shower. The rain stopped quickly and we had to make the decision on tires within the 15 min window. Well we chose to stay on slicks along with many others. By the time the 15 mins had gone by the rain started to fall. If we had only started on time we would have been good.
Reece managed to stay out there in his first ever wet race in any car, on slicks and finished 5th overall........Car came home wet but complete, driver came home with a smile.

Reece received plenty of praise for his driving ability and etiquete which is in many ways down to the example set by the Forula First drivers and I thank you all for that.

We all know that Reece (age not withstanding) is a really good shoe. You Enterprisers might be nervously looking over your shoulder about now.

I'm hoping you can squeeze some FST races in next year.
