Dear C-Mod guys:
Up for sale is a highly modified 1997 RD, which has been our autocross car for the last two years. It has a logbook and only requires the installation of the fire bottle to go RR (which we have kept). It has been meticulously prepared and developed over the last two years with nothing overlooked. Clutches removed, cleaned, serviced, and whole car corner weighted between every single event, etc.. you get the picture. If purchased after nationals it will come with Sticker rains, 1 set of stickers, and 1 set of stickers with under 12 miles on them.
Price is $10,500, just a reminder that it's coming with $2000 in new tires.
Why spend 5-8K on a used car only to dump more money into it to try and run up front? This car is ready to rock, and will save you $$$$ in development costs because you won't need to do any!
Details:
- Polaris primary x2 (1 needs rebuild)
Arctic cat roller secondary with Lennoco cover, Formula X-1 setup from Mitchel racing services
It is running a 494 rave with Aaen pipe, I also have a weindant copy pipe and Y pipe which will require some modification to install
Carbon front and rear radiator ducting w/ dual ducted fans and electric pump, rads in parallel with mostly aluminum hardpipes
Aux battery for grid
Modified front geometry
Adjustable rear geometry to suit surface
1.5" tubular rear axle with custom parts and upright modifications, large dual row bearings, this thing puts power down!
Custom resin/bead seat
AIM XG log with sensors including steering angle
Momo open top formula wheel
Wilwood brakes and pedal w/ dash mount bias adjuster
Mostly new rod ends throughout
Sports car nose w/ splitter
Rear Diffuser
The car needs nothing and is ready to run at the front. Since we've had it, the car has taken top pax at every single regional it attended (probably nearly 20 events at this point). In addition to finishing 2.5 seconds clear of 3rd place at 2011 solo nats, it paxed 2nd and 3rd out of 1157 drivers. At the toledo Pro this year, it defeated Jeff Cashmore, Brian Garfield, Dominic Stone, And Clemens Berger to win R1 and take top pax for the event. It was again 1st and 2nd in FM for 2012, finishing 2nd and 5th in PAX for the whole event. This is a no excuses car.
