I know her, no chance she runs with Lewis , ever. I found it rather in poor taste Lewis took her positive post and basically turned it into a negative one.

    Default Google Jon Lewis

I've Googled every combination of Jon Lewis, Jon Lewis F1000, American Racing Jon Lewis etc, etc and I can't find one negative/warning article about this guy......This guy comes out smelling like roses for some unsuspecting driver looking into him. And the con goes on...

Lewis is targeting the young Truecar women who may or may not be losing their funding. I happen to know 3 of them and they have all been warned. One of which is already upset at Lewis and deleting his posts and about to block him for good as she already said no and he keeps pestering her. Not only does the guy not know how to run a series he apprently doesnt know how to make friends either.

I just read in their site that Julie Lewis is the spokesperson and they have found two new victims to run the B-Series cars. I hope things work out for the two new drivers working with ASR. This should be entertaining to watch how this saga plays out. They even have a blog link on the ASR site for those people that didn't get enough of all the postings the last two years.

Pretty sure she's been that all along, mainly due to not hitting the bottle so much if at all, therefore able to construct coherent sentences.

Wow! What a great read! I originally clicked on this thread thinking the discussion was going to be about the failed Tube Frame Corvette powered short track "Indy Car" manufactured in the mid 90's by Alderson I think.

Whatever happened to this guy? Did he screw more people in 2013? Is he banned from everywhere?

Crazy story. I feel bad for anyone who lost money dealing with him.

Scuderia Team Fiat. Typical Jon situation. Promises a full season, and then the funds start to dry up (read that as get used up by Jon on some sort of other scam he is funding). After a few difficult races (one particular example is both cars rolling at COTA), he posts on FB that he is offering the cars for sale for a discounted price if you pay now and wait until after the season to take possession. This must have sent up red flags to the paying drivers as the posts were removed and the vehicles were taken by the drivers (at least the one in Texas) and have been handled by them ever since.

I can only hope the reason he didn't travel to races is due to all the open warrants he has in various states.

I found another interesting site about him.

to even be allowed into SCCA World challenge this year his wife had to be listed as team principle. I still don't know why SCCA allowed it since it was clearly just a shell game at work and looky at what ended up happening.

Those individuals that got burned by this man should highly consider filing a complaint with the FBI located in Miami, Florida, US Attorney Generals office in Florida, and the local Cape Coral Police Dept.

I am quite sure that these agencies would take the complaints seriously as there are so many against this racing person and company. They can make a determination if criminal activity has taken place.

Most of the time the wheels of Justice turn slowly, so it make take some time for results.

Guilty. Wonder how long it will go?

Back when I gave a $hit, I searched and found no less than a dozen LLCs tied to him, one following another, presumably after he completed the scam of the day. How he isn't in jail or a shallow grave somewhere in the Everglades is beyond me.

ASR Global AutoSport has its own Career Enhancement System in motorsport. Should an ASR driver win the 2015 TA2 Championship, ASR will provide that driver with their choice of a fully funded Trans Am TA2 ride in 2016 or a $100,000 in cash. ASR's 2016 fully funded ride for the ASR TA2 Champion contains all that the 2015 program includes with the addition of Driver transportation (within the continental United States) to all events, hotels, meals, no crash damage liability and no deposit required.

    Heard that before....

Hopefully Tony Ave will take him behind the tech shed.

I've resigned myself to the fact that this is all that slimy puke knows and that he'll always be around racing. It just astounds me that the SCCA continues to let him and his equally slimy wife through the gate.

As long as i have some reliable info i can make an effort to keep that from happening to any TA guys.

If i could get your money for you i would. There were times early in my career where prize money is how i survived, literally. I would have been out of business and back fixing snowmobiles at my Dad 's shop.....

I guess it's just a lot of wishful thinking. I don't go out to buy a $10 ratched off of Craigslist without searching google for the guy's name, email and phone number.. I can't imagine anyone else spending 250k on a ride without doing a bit of research.. Ugh, I can't wait for this guy to get put behind bars or just fall off the face of the earth.
