    Default titan steering rack disassembly

Does any one have any tips on how to disassemble the entire rack, specifically the pinion from the mag case? Previous owner of the recently acquired crossle 40f wrecked (suspension must have taken the brunt force) causing the rack to travel to one extreme end smashing the end cap into the casing. I'd like to tear the rack down completely to asses the damage and fully clean/grease since the grease currently resembles sand paper.

    Ciao,
    Jon

Is it from a Titan car or a Titan brand.

Remember that Titan (not sure if related to the Titan car) makes oil pumps, pand and other things.

If no luck with Andy, try Keith Averill, Richard at ICP, Pat Prince or the local fabricator of your choice who knows formula cars.

    Default Titan

I believe Charles Lucas made the Titan cars, and eventually found that there was no money in producing small formula cars, so he turned to components. Ergo, same company, just exhibiting Darwinian evolution.
