This Double Regional with Triple Points event includes two one day events (two sanctions). Saturday's event has 20-minute qualifying sessions by race group, followed by Regional Races of 16 laps or 23 minutes. On Sunday it’s Qualifying Races by race group - 15 laps or 21 minutes (the grids set by best lap in Saturday's races), then Regional Races - 15 laps or 21 minutes - in the afternoon (the grids set by morning qualifying race finish position).

    Both Days $325

Will you folks be looking for a split start again, as there will be several formula chainsaws there, Mark?......LOL.

In theory a F500 should runs much faster laps than a FV and if that was the case there would never be any need for the request of a split start, but when you get 15 to 20 FVs going into turn 1 of the oval 5 wide and 1 F5 hitting the brakes it causes a big problem. After a lap or 2 it is a little different. I have a great incar video that shows a great example of this, on the start I started around 14th out of 20 or so and a F5 came from the back on the start and by the entrance of turn 1 he was in 3rd by the entrance of turn 3 I was passing him back. I and I believe the other FV drivers have nothing against F5 racers its just safer on the starts at NHMS.

MARK......as a owner of an F500 for next season and having been a crew member for same F500 recently at NHMS(and next weekend at NHMS AND 2 weeks later for the NARRC at LRP, I understand the reason completely at NHMS! Tough enough to get thru turn 3 with 2 cars close together. See you next weekend.

    Default will see you there

I really like the newhampshire track It is always fun. a few of us went to njmp and raced with a few formula fords and f500's. The f500 were rockets they took off and we never saw them again. The problem there was a formula ford that would gain 500feet on the front straight , and we would catch in the lightbulb or jersey devil turn. there was also a cf that ran and he was a gentleman stayed out of the way all the time . So for newhampshire I think the split start is the way to go. To keep everyone safe. Or do what we did in nj. We did a gentlemans agreement the formula fords took the flag , We held back and they gave us a second flagwave the starter held the green in the air stationery and waved it again a second time for the vee's This way there was no need for a second pace car. and we got some seperation from the fords and 500's Pete Cheney fv #06

    Three races, three winners!

Congrats to Jon, Nick, and John (think I got the order right)

Great weekend with only one driver going away with a damaged car, and that was a mechanical failure, not car to car or car to wall.....
