Default Edge Eng. will be there

Edge Engineering will be there. I'll either be there in my old car or the new one.

Headed to Infineon Wed. for the Dbl Rational to keep my license current.

Miller is a super fun track. Pretty sure we will see one of the best car counts of the season at this race.

    Default My first thought was

Oh hell yeah - I gotta go to this thing!
My 2nd thought was - Crap, That's way to far to tow for a race.
My 3rd thought was - Actually that's like a JR Light tow...
My 4th thought was - Hmmmmmmm...

C'mon Coop. You know you want to do it. Miller is a top notch place. You can rent the GP Garages which have live timing television, electricity, air, and their own bathrooms in each unit.

It's worth the drive I promise. Bring out your beautiful bride and make a vacation of it.

    Hope to see you bud,

Ditto to what JRO said, Coop, you won't regret it.

If enticement to get you out here does not work, we shall have to resort to denigrating suggestions against your manliness, and we KNOW you won't let that stand.

I've always wanted to race at Miller. Coop, I got my new FB coming towards the end of the month I'd be interested to see if we can get a hauler to bring a few cars out there and split the towing costs...hmmm....

Just got back from HPR and oh yeah, I'll be there.

It would be great to have you join us, Coop and it's an easy tow.

Hey John Paul, as JR mentioned, there's no better facility to have for your break in of the new car and we'd love to have you join the fun, so by all means, come on out.

Attendee-wise, I think Christopher Ash will be coming out as well, and in response to his question of me at HPR, I believe we'll be running the East track (not the west like I thought).

By the way, congrats to JR and Jake for their well deserved wins at HPR. And another attaboy to Jake for the new FB track record in Sunday's race.

As for Miller, we should have a really good turnout. Coop, if you and John Paul join us and Belling brings a car, that would make it a dozen from my count. And there's still upside from there! Cool!

I'm looking forward to a great field!

    John

Right on, Nicholas, get Alex and come on down! He'll love the track.

Unfortunately, I don't know of a sim for Miller but something tells me that won't hurt him any - being a track record holder and all.

Just spoke to James Lee about going out there, he is excited. Can't promise anything but if I can make it happen I will. I'd like to see if we can get a hauler with like 4-5 to leave from Atlanta (or some central area) so we can get a reasonable tow costs.

There is (or was) a Miller Motorsports Park version for rFactor. I used it to get my bearings a few years ago when we were out there.

Jeremy. I thought you switched to the Great Lakes region, you should cancel the Glen and come to GingerMan(Double National this weekend), way more fun than wg and there are at least 5 FB's coming. We just got done doing some curb work and track is better than before, come check it.

    Default Woulda

been at The Glen 'cept for the horrible schedule, PLUS it's no longer a Double National.
The region has been claiming how great a weekend it has been in the past (see other thread), but I'm betting the recent schedule change sees participation TANK.
    Total bummer too...

they finally split our run group so there are only 20 cars in our group, down from as many as 65 in previous years, would switch to gingerman but cant cancel hotel rooms, family plans etc, jeremy

Man, I'd really like to make the trip out to Miller. According to Google maps it's approx 3800 miles round trip from Atlanta, GA (plus I have another 600+ miles from FL to GA). If we had 3-4 car hauler to the trip how much do you figure it would cost each person? if there is anyone out there that might be tempted speak up, lets see if we can make it happen. The route cuts through Alabama, Tennessee, Missouri, Kansas. Colorado and Wyoming (damn that a long haul). If anyone is on the way we might be able to hook it up.

    Russ -

Rilltech might have their shop Speads FB available? No idea if they rent that one out, but I think it's likely they'll be bringing either/both Chris Ash and Rob Adams' cars anyway...?

    www.rilltechracing.com

You might have to put up with one of those fancy-dancy-dandy automatic shifters though. You never know...you might like it

Wow, I need to check that out!

Just bustin' your chops, Jake, I know they aren't automatic.

Hey Russ, get hold of Nicholas Belling as I think he has a car you could rent for for Miller. And I believe it also has one of those fancy shifters but it is driver actuated.

But really, I hope you come on out and join us - it could be a helluva field!

Tell Nicholas we are offering a $10k payout to the winner...then we just renege when time comes to payout.

this is going to be an epic race. I see Larry Vollum is registered now.
