    Default Mosport Pro Weekend

Unfortunately, I did not get to watch it, but great FF racing was back at Mosport at the World Challenge weekend. The track was a buzz about the best weekend of FF racing seen at Mosport in years. 16 cars showed up, with 7 running in the lead pack for most of the final. The 3 fast kents were the fastest but all had mechanical issues both days and the FIT powered cars ended up in front at race end. Jack Mitchell Jr won the first FF race in Canada with a FIT-powered FF. Congrats to Brian Graham Racing who returned to top form with two rookie drivers making it to the podium both days, driving BGR Piper-Hondas. Great weekend of racing!!!!!!!!!!

Great to see a seven car train at the front for a while. The fastest race lap was set by a Honda powered car on Sunday.

Congrats to Caitlin on Sunday's win.

What I don't like about MyLaps is they don't list the car and engine.

It was just great racing! There were a dozen competitive cars and drivers, regardless of which car, which team, which engine. That was the story. That should be the story! Nothing but positivity from this reporter. Cheers!

Was great to see & be part of. Congratulations to Caitlan for a great weekend as well to the BGR Team.

Pole taken Sat by a Kent followed by a Honda. Fast lap in Sat race set by young Mr. Adams in his VD with Kent power by about 4-5 tenths however was a minute or so late to the start. During the race unfortunately the two front runners dropped out engine with issues on the same lap (both Kent powered) leaving it to 3 Hondas taking the first three spots.

Sunday the pole was taken by Mr. Adams with the 2nd on the grid being a Kent as well. Both of those cars were part of the 7 car train unfortunately had mechanical issues non engine related from what I understand that knocked them out. Once again it was a 1,2,3 for Honda's with the same people on the podium just in a different order. Fast lap was taken by a Honda for this race by about 2 tenths.

Best turn out of the year so far & closest racing I have seen since being a part of FF in Ontario. Let's hope it continues.
