    Default Sports Racer Challenge

A couple of months ago I slipped an announcement of this event into the ApexSpeed Historic section. Now that there's this new legit section (Thanks ApexSpeed), it bears repeating here:

Rocky Mountain Vintage Racing (RMVR) is hosting a Labor Day weekend vintage event in Colorado to include a "Bobsy Reunion & Sports Racer Challenge." If you have, or know someone with, a pre-84 sports racer, especially a Bobsy sports racer, have them check it out. Amazingly, as of today (June 17th), we have 12 Bobsy sports racers planning on attending. Considering that there are only about 22 still running in the entire U.S., we're very, very pleased. It should be a cool event.

We'd like to see other vintage sports racers (including the early S2000 cars) also attend to flesh out what we hope to be a grid of 25-30 vintage sports racers including the Bobsy cars. So check it out.

Should be a fun event for all attending. It's at Pueblo Motorsports Park which has ALL NEW PAVING this season! I raced the new paving earlier this month and tire wear will not be an issue. Great smooth surface over the entire 2.5 mile circuit.

    Three links for more information:

Please entertain attending this event and help spread the word to vintage sports racer owners you might know. Don't hesitate to contact me for more info or questions.

    Thanks.
