Default Can anyone ID the car and drive in this pic?

    http://wildguzzi.com/forum/index.php?topic=54746.0

This is from a Moto Guzzi motorcycle forum I participate in.

    Driver?

    Thanks in advance!

You might try contacting Peter Hilton to see if he can find anything in the archives.

The Racing Sports Cars web site has a lot of info of past racing events.

    Go to http://www.racingsportscars.com/cars.html

Click on the Advanced Search button at the top right.

There you can enter the car number and other info you would like to search.

Well since it has an FC on the side I would guess that it is a formula "C" car not a formula 1 they ran an 1100cc engine back in the day and I would guess from helmet mid 1960's In the late 1960's full face helmets came out I think by 1970 most people realized the better protection., head and eye from the full face design.

    Default Cosworth SCA

I think the vertical inlets may be those of a 1000cc Cosworth SCA. Hence an FC. The engine is tilted and the inlets are vertical, thus looking sort of like a V8 from the side. Hard to find a nice picture online.

    Default FC

Looks like a Lotus to me . Rear engine cover looks like Lotus 41. Back in the day a 41 with a SCA was the hot setup.
