You can try to make a street car into an autocrosser or you can do a lot less work and make a race car into a great autocrosser

Thanks guys! What an incredible week. I had no idea what to expect in the company I was racing with.

I don't have the actual fastest East course video uploaded because the GoPro decided not to record sound... so you'll have to watch the 0.011 slower run 3 with the cone of death.

    Day 1 East: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UEnYOVyhhQs
    Day 2 West: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Km1nT...ature=youtu.be

These courses were amazing. A perfect level of difficulty but also a very distinct difference in approach and style between the two.

    Default Vidieo's

    Barry/Bradon,

Thank you very much for the video links! I posted them on the FaceBook CM page (http://www.facebook.com/pages/SCCA-S...03286356445793)...

    A couple of comments :

~ Love the Fit intake noise. Like Barry noted earlier this week, you can really hear it off throttle.
~ The Dulon looks really narrow!

    Take care,

Thanks to all for the great CM turnout and the videos from the top three finishers!!! Comparing your videos with mine from the West course it is pretty easy to see the differences.

Obviously last place due to car problems on day 1 and something like 15th place out of 21 on day 2 resulted in my worst finish ever . . . not counting the event in 96 when we had to leave due to hurricane damage at home when I didn't run at all.

Thanks to all the help and suggestions on the car problem, especially when interrupting your concentration between runs. Very high on my list of things to do this winter is solving the "silicone rubber bits escaping from the air inlet ducting" problem that has recurred several times in 20 years despite my efforts to eliminate it.

It was nice to have a chance to meet some of the CM group on grid...although trying to introduce myself to Dick while he was a little...umm...focused on his engine problem wasn't too smart on my part!

I also want to congratulate Brandon for a great drive...smooth, great lines, no wasted motion. It also gives hope for those of us who aren't wanting to move to newer tech, big dollar CM builds, as he kept the absolutely immaculate Ott car at bay.

Already have started planning for getting a CM car back there next year. Whether it ends up being mine is TBD.

You solo guys never cease to amaze me.

I would have gotten lost after the first gate.

That is why I have to stick to the easy stuff.

Just follow the gray ribbon between the grass.

I couldn't agree more!! This year's results are a great statement for CM, it doesn't matter what car you bring, everybody has an equal chance!!

I have to say, Mark Lamm builds some spectacular cars, the dulon and Nick's VD are gorgeous!

Fantastic Videos! After watching them I went and sat in the Swift and made racecar noises. So many FAST drivers in CM. So many beautiful cars. I agree with Dick, the Fit intake sound is awesome.

    Looking forward to next year.

    Doug
