GSXR Throttle cable

Hi guys,

can anyone tell me where I would get a throttle cable for a Stohr with a GSXR engine? is it a stock OEM GSXR cable that can be acquired from any Suzuki dealer? it sure looks long for a bike cable and the end is certainly specific to the GSXR.

Definitely NOT a Suzuki Part #, the bike cable is nowhere as long as you need for the car.

What I do is use a tandem bicycle brake cable. It has the ball made onto one end, and the other end is ball-less, just straight cable that you can attach to the throttle pedal and set to size w/ onea those little barrel clamp arrangements.

Give Mark a call at TJ Cycle, he custom makes cables. He made us ones for Wades Renault and my various Van Diemens.

He's right on Blackfoot and about 58th.

Honestly, the easiest thing to do is call Stohr. Usually they have stuff on the shelf, and if not, they'll probably get one for you or tell you where.

I take the easy way out on stuff like this

Thanks guys. of course I need one yesterday! Thanks Jake. I know I can get them Stohr but being I am in Canada, I need to get a larger order together to make the shipping, the brokerage, the import tax and all the other fees I have to pay just to get it here. We really get skinned on the shipping parts from USA to Canada program!
