Thunderhill Raceway, Willows, California (March 11, 2012) – JR Osborne cruised to an easy victory in race two of the 2012 F1000 Pro Series presented by Hoosier Racing Tires, Hyperco, Jongbloed Racing Wheels, Kool Coat, and Elizabeth Jackson Artwork.

After losing the win and being dropped down the finishing order in race one for a minor wing infraction JR Osborne went out in qualifying for race two setting a blistering time and a new track qualifying record of 1:39.905. The rest of the F1000 started in the same positions as in race one with Lucian Pancea repeating his performance from the day before garnishing second overall fastest time at 1:42.082. Corey Smith rounded out the top three at 1:43.723, with Terry Biner fourth with a time of 1:47.569, John LaBrie still nursing his sick engine back in fifth with a 1:56.893 and Herman Pahls also suffering from engine woes sixth fastest with a time of 2:29.544. At the drop of the green Osborne shot straight out into the lead and then preceded to put on a driving clinic as the rest of the field tried in vain to keep up. The order at the end of the first lap was Osborne, Pancea, Smith, Biner, LaBrie, and Pahls, and it would stay that way as the race preceded along completely uneventful until John Labrie's long suffering engine finally decided it had enough and let go on the pit straight with just one lap remaining. That brought out the yellow and checker flag drawing the race to a close with Osborne the winner, Pancea second, Smith third, Biner in fourth, Pahls fifth, and LaBrie sixth.

2+ seconds a lap in a pro series. Lots of work ahead for everybody else.
