The FRCCA is enjoying a field of 38 Club Fords. We also have entrants form F/V, F/F & F/C. We believe the large C/F field is due to the fact that we have stayed with the original Club Ford concept; that being "for whatever reason a driver chooses to spend less money to go racing we as a sanctioning body will maintain a cost effective set of rules". While some drivers may think we are stuck in the past, the fact is keeping the cost down in this class seems to be popular. There is no problem with a driver choosing to go to another class that allows them to spend more money, be it tires, Aluminum Heads or data stuff BUT we keep the costs down in FRCCA C/F. We also get some SCCA C/F drivers but we let them race according to their clubs rules, sticky tires, etc. but they are not included in our tally of 38 entrees. The first race will be held at the Shenandoah Circuit located in Summit Point, WV on May 4, 5, & 6th. There will be open practice and school on the 4th with race one on the 5th and race two on May 6th, ALL formula car drivers with a current competition license are welcomed!
