When you're at the connect page, there is a blue "+" button at the top of the list. click on that and enter in "keithcarter.redirectme.net" and it should find the server for you

Is there anything else I need to enter before I type in " keithcarter.redirectme.net" ?

I keep trying but matchmaker tells me no games found.

I just tried to log on, but I can't seem to find any server, let alone the apexspeed one...
Not sure if it's my connection (probably weak wireless signal, and I don't feel like running the cable for 5 seconds of testing), or the matchmaker is down :S

Set a few recon laps... a bit off the pace though.

I don't see much passing this race :S and those tires don't look too friendly.

I can see all the room in Matchmaker. I can even join my other league rooms no problem. I just turned off my anit-virus too, but this never caused me not to be able to connect. What is the exact server name in matchmaker?

Okay looks like if Im online with anyone else after about 2-3 laps I loose connection, if Im solo I can run indefinatly...

kc - have you tried running a speed test on your INTERNET hookup? you can do so at:
http://www.speakeasy.net/speedtest i just picked Chicago and got 23.52 Mbps download and 3.66 upload. i am not a puter geek so i don't understand all of the how's and whys - but it would make sense if you do not have a good speed you will get bounced from the game. also, "i think" you will cause warping for others while you are in the game. i had a dial up connection that was reallllllllly bad back in the GPL days and they would ask me to leave cause i was crashing it for others. or, they just were afraid of my superior skills.

speaking of superior skills, john what the &^%$ are you doing man! you are FAST becoming a bugger. (speaking of which - hey bugger brothers - john just said (with his times) that he will kick your butts, are you going to just NOT show up??? ) anywho - good times, i got nothing for you, will keep trying though.
also, you had asked in another post about pit stops. you have to make a pit stop, but nothing ever said you had to take tires or fuel. also, don't do it on the last lap. that is a no no..
will now go test some with my secret weapon (Columbian Coffee)

if you try to run the speed test and it takes forever or won't let you that is telling you that you have a very bad hookup...

I'm at 20 down and 5 up. The server is fine if nobody else has issues.

20+ down and 5up for me, thinking its just the wifi on the laptop flaking out on me, will try a hardline for the next race and see if I can stay connected, used to play MMOs and online games constantly so know the internet side is good, just not sure about the wifi

Nice racing guys! I had some serious issues, engine smoking, keiths wing hit me in the head, warping and bumping jer! then spinning out, then magically I had damage! This mod is very strange!! Good job though I had fun while it lasted.

Sorry to Keith if I took you out of the race... Haven't seen the replay yet, but I thought from the mirrors I was clear, and was too busy looking in them that I carried too much speed into the chicane, rear started to let go and I had to drift out...

If that's the case, feel free to dish out a penalty.

Naw, the insects around that track are quite large...
Would need a lot more smoke to wipe them out.

Nah, it was a fine pass. I didn't back off and ended up taking my left front corner off on that stack of tires outside the double drop corner.

This track is just impossible to pass on cleanly...

I'll admit it's fun to drive, but nerve wracking in a race. Just can't pass and I spent most of the first few laps waiting for someone to divebomb into a corner...
