Goodyear becomes Presenting Sponsor of the Formula 1000 Championship


Cape Coral, FL (Febuary 6, 2012) – The Formula 1000 Championship Series announced today that Goodyear has become the Presenting Sponsor of the Championship.

“We are honored that a company as prominent as Goodyear has chosen the Formula 1000 Championship Series to support,” Stated F1000’s Jon Lewis. “Goodyear is the spec tire of the Championship and was one of the first companies to support this Series. Goodyear’s support only makes our Championship stronger.”

Beyond being the Presenting Sponsor of the Championship and spec tire of the Series, Goodyear will provide 80 tires over the course of the season as part of the prize purse to the 1st, 2nd & 3rd place finishers in each race, along with one tire per race given away at random.
