Not sure of Lithium Ion, but The Ballistic EVO uses Lithium-Ferrous technology.
It's incredibly, tiny, and extremely light (at 2.5lbs), yet it's powerful. I mounted one in my Stohr with an accessible charging lead.

OK
I need a battery for a FIT powered FF with high amperage alternator.
Lithium Ion?
Lithium Ferrous?
Recommendations including suppliers please.
Thanks

I don't know about lithium-ferrous, but for lithium-ion you need to run the charge from the alternator through a special charger before it goes to the batteries - nasty things like explosions and fires will happen otherwise.
My feeling is that if Lithium-ion batteries are used, they should be installed as total loss, and recharged between sessions.
I'm running a Ballistic EVO2 8 cell Lithium Ferrous in my FB and it charges just fine from the stock alternator.
Weighs 1.7lbs.
From what I understand the Lithium Ferrous is less prone to vibration damage and is recommended for our application.
