Default 2012 ApexSpeed rFactor League Schedule

Ok, guys. Finally got my sim rig set up and a data line dropped to it.

Here is the schedule for the league. We're doing a bi-weekly race schedule for those who have other things going on and can't cram all your practice into a single week. The server will be up for practice at all times up until qualifying which will start at 8:30PM CST. Racing will then start a short time thereafter.

    Default Error loading watkins glen

Getting a Gmotor2 loading error on Watkins Glen with the prescribed download? Error BKA loading material BKA? Error loading global material BKA. No idea what BKA material actually is?

    Solution:

Remove extra files from the locations folder so only the track folders and commonmaps.mas and terrain.tdf remain.

    Use DX7

    Darn
Looks like I'm going to miss the first round, as I plan on being somewhere on I-95 in either Georgia or Florida by then on my way down to Daytona...

    Also, no Mosport?
    jks
Tremblant should be (is) just as entertaining

    Sounds good Keith,

I'll e-mail your skin files to you today.

As well, I believe Jerry has all the files he needs.

Just fine tuning Matt Inge and Pat Frank's cars a bit. I've finally settled on mine.

    Once again, I'll do points.

Where does a Sim Newbie obtain the League's Track File Links for RAtl, Barber and Oulton Park? I'm in practice-only mode, but would like to use the same venues.

Most of the downloads can be found at rFactorCentral.com

I can't remember, but I think that the version of Road Atlanta may still be in the WIP section though.

    Hi guys!

Anyone who has met the deadline of last Tuesday to get me their skins have been included in this years league skin pack. Please be sure to remove any previous skins you may have had as I have needed to alter the skins submitted for pit space assignments and whatnot so in order to prevent any issues, clear any previously used custom skins in order to use the common skinpack everyone will have. One decompressing the skinpack, you can place the folder into the "ALL TEAMS" folder under the 1976_FA vehicles folder.

    You can download it HERE

As a favor to me, before you guys get too deep into settings and everything for your rFactor profiles, could you use your real names so that everything shows up with your real names for points and on the hotlaps page? KC0STP and I think I saw Tyler Marklein using aliases. Thanks, guys!

I'm getting a 404 for the skin pack. Is there another place I can get it? Not sure if I can make all the races but I will try.

I can't get the Mid Ohio download to work...
For some reason, the EXE won't run on either of my machines
I used an old download first, and then downloaded the file again, but I still can't get it to work.
    Anyone else having this problem?
I have it on this computer, but I've also changed a few things (sky fix etc...) so I can't just transfer it over to my sim rig...

Default newbie to join 1976 Atlantic series ?

I would like to join you guys for the remaining races. I already have the mod downloaded. I don't need a custom skin, so I will download the pack and use a skin from the game since I have no idea how to do one. What do I need to do next and what is the server ip and passowrd for the next event so I can get some practice laps in?

    Thanks
    John

How long are the races? Do you quali just before the races? Is there anything else I need to do before the March 6th race?

Qualifying is at 8:30PM CST on the Tuesdays we race. They are 10 minute sessions. After qualifying there is a 5 minute warmup session/break before we race. We do standing starts without a pace lap for the race. The number of laps is dependent on the length of the track, but range anywhere between 18 and 26 laps usually. We have a two wheel off rule so that if anyone is discovered to repeatedly drop more than 2 wheels off for an observed advantage, they will be penalized positions\points. There is also a mandatory pit stop rule. You must make one pit stop during the duration of the race. Due to the shorter schedule this season, we will only be dropping single lowest race from the points so that gives everyone an opportunity to miss a race without dropping back too far in the points. Aside from that, all you'll need to do is download the skin pack and join the server using your real name (rFactor profile with FIRST and LAST names) as can be seen on our Hotlaps page HERE.

With the madatory pit stop. Does anything need to be done during the stop, like change tires or add fuel?

The link to Oulton is posted in the new thread for the league event. The Sebring version is the latest VLN version and then the St Jovite version I'm taking suggestions on...

For Tremblant, I think that '09 version you have a link to in the first post is the best of the 3 that I've driven...
Namerow isn't quite right... but overall it's better than the others by far

Did we pick a St Jovite yet or are we going to use the one posted at the top?
