Congrats to the Old man Jim Morgan on the FF win in our Swift/Fit. I guess that old chassis still has some mojo left in it...

Are the stories true? Jim went by himself, with no crew, and slept in the trailer? Just like the good old days.

The ignominy of the situation does not escape those of us who have witnessed his unselfishly giving of his time and money to help/crew for many others over the last 6 years, and then when he gets a chance to race no one shows up to help.

Good thing he had a Fit. All he had to do is check the tire pressures and go.

    Frog,

I wimped out and got a room. Unexpected assistance arrived in the form of Kyle"Little Big Man" and Felipe " Big Little Man". The fit does simplify life.

You converted your FC DB-6 to FF or is this another Swift?

As reported months ago the world famous fastest Swift FC, was nuetered and converted to a FF Fit. A travesty of the largest dimension. I was told they did it so others would have some chance to maybe set a FC lap record in the SEDIV in the next decade.

But, on the good news front. Amazing lad Kyle Connery, who won 6 of 14 of the pro races this year, takes the time to go and help the old man.

    Froggie,
A well prepped nuetered swift/honda leaves very little to do at the track. The most excitement was Sunday morning rebuilding the "dumped" tool box.
Good Job, Jimbo, despite the help from 10cense you made it.

    John,

The correct spelling is TENCEN. Coop how important are tire pressures on 12 cycle 3 weekend tires? This was indeed a throwback weekend to my old Club Ford days. The only expense was a new helmet (old one expired) I can now wear my glasses so passing on the left is once again possible but not recommended.

    JR2,

OMG! You are saying Jim took a tool box... That's way over prepared.

A two man crew, a motel room, and a tool box. Damn, and I was lead to believe he was really roughing it... turns out he showed up looking like some fancy pro team. I can't believe any of the rumors that get emailed to me.

    JR2, Heresy you speak!
If it's on Apex, it's true. If you don't belive it, just PM either me, Fast Matt, Josh, or Wren.

I guess that means our visages will be made from prepreg attached to the mountain with special fasteners on 6 inch centers. And somewhere in there, a PE will certify that a custom weldment is a National Park.

Below that abovementioned mountainside prepeg attachment I am quite sure Richard Pare would find a slippery slope.
