    Default Age of car

I would like some info on Formula Ford.

Class A cars start at 1995 and newer.

What would be the oldest in terms of model years you would go to be competitive in the A class?

What is fundamentally the differences in let's say 1994 Van Diemen vs 1998 vs 2005 car? I know the aero is different. What else suspension geometry? What are the biggest factors to keep in mind when purchasing? Please educate me?

Are you able to update cars to current spec?

    Thanks

    Kevin

David would be a great source of information. Your own body build may also rule out some cars as there are differences in driver room depending on the year. If your small you will fit in them all, if you are larger then there they may need to be some mods made to certain years to help you fit better.

there are lots of adaptation and variations out there. Steve is right call Dave.

98VD's could have upgraded bodywork and susp for example so only the tub is a 98.

I think all front A class OFFC cars are 2000 (BGR, B-W, Mortimer) or newer tubs with all the major upgrades on them. $$$$$
