Talent usually ends up in front, but fun goes from the front of the grid all the way to the back.
Nobody to race against.....got lapped by all the F2000 guys, the only other F1600 car was way off the pace with many of the vintage FF guys running faster lap times than he did.
Looking at past results at Vegas, they've (VARA) always struggled to get a good FF turnout there. Pagenaud laps were in the 1:32's...the front end of the vintage FF's usually are in the 36's. I'm guessing he had at least a couple seconds in reserve.
The F2000 guys were running 26's.
