God, I feel like a total hog seeing so many postings (made by me) as we try to work our way through our one-off FB build. But we so need the help...

And I thank everyone for it.

And so, hoping I'm not wearing our welcome thin... does anyone happen to know a source for really small (high quality) aluminum extrusions -- simple shapes like "L" angle, but under a half inch in size? Our net searches are leading only to China... and misery.

For "L" shaped alu extrusions, your local Lowe's has them (or other Home Builder type stores).

What is the Ring and Pinion ratio in the LD200 you sent?

There is a company, Tiernay Metals, that handles all aircraft shapes for angles, t's and other extrusions. You may have a problem buying directly from them your order quanity may be too small. They also have some shapes in stock that are reserved for customers like Boeing and Lockheed.
