    Thanks for the link.

Does full screen viewing work for you guys? I'm only able to watch it in the 3" x 5" box. Clicking the Full Screen links don't change it. I tried both IE and Firefox.

There is a button at the bottom left of the screen for full size screen that works.

Thanks. It doesn't work for me. Must be a problem with my browsers.

The fullscreen works for me, but the quality is such that I watch it in the window anyways, so you aren't missing much.

Works pretty well for me. Not quite what it was back in the SpeedVision days, but still pretty cool. I wonder what kind of ratings it's getting?

We looked into doing something similar for the ARRC by GRM a couple of years ago and the initial estimate was somewhere north of $100K. We'll stay with Live T&S and Live (track announcer) Audio for now...

I heard late yesterday that Tim Kautz has not only gotten an engine for today's race but that they've diagnosed the underlying problem. I hope this rumor is right -- I would hate to be passing along misinformation, and I hope Tim is in the show with a good car.

A lot of very good racing yesterday, the best I saw being FC in which for most of the race a three-car train -- Griest, Tomasi, Szykulski -- ran around together. Very close, very intense. Griest held on for a great win -- and Tomasi fell to 3rd going up the hill to the checkered when it looked like his fuel ran out (the SCCA website says a throttle linkage problem). Griest's win was by 0.206 second, for his first National Championship. The three lead cars had to work around 2 lapped cars from Canada to the finish. I was watching in T5 and the racecraft and strategy from all 3 lead drivers was superb. Great racing. Congratulations to Revere!

Bill Kephart has loaned Tim an engine and the crew was finishing up the install when we left the track last night. They believe they have found the underlying problem and will go out in the hardship session this morning.to shake it down.

Thanks for the confirmation, Tom. The shakedown lap will likely be on a wet track, if not in the rain, which we are getting now (about 8:45am) and a fairly hard rain at that.

Good luck to Bill this afternoon, glad to hear the two guys who made the long haul have both sorted things out.

Might want to tune a little early. It seemed that yesterdays FM/FE race started a little ahead of schedule to me, or maybe that's green flag time, after the three to four minute pace lap, as it is a long track.

The times on the schedule are when the green flag drops. They typically roll out for the pace lap 5 minutes before that, so 4:25 for FF

Very impressive and entertaining race. Sad, bad luck for Reid, who looked like he had a good chance at the championship.

So many impressive performances (Cooper, Kautz, Valet, Johnson, Benson, Livingston, etc.) Congrats to all. You did the class proud.

What a race! Reid showed his speed! Allen in 12th! After all of the disappointments of the whole season, courageous decisions, what a great, great showing! And the old cheese crew, Jon Vlassis and John Luxon! All you men make me proud! I am so happy for you! Congratulations!

Not sure. Jeff seemed to be having engine problems by the 2nd or 3rd lap, judging from his speed going up the hill after T5. I heard Scott spun where I did, in T6.

As for my spin, it came trying to set up to pass for 8th with a lap and a half to go . . . I was late getting onto the throttle, went sideways, and banged the curb. The nose went airborne, the footbox wound up cockeyed, and the pedals and sway bars are pulled out of alignment. So I chugged around the final lap and a half trying not to hurt self or others.

I had such a great week overall. Made tremendous progress despite a crappy start and my late shenanigans in T6.

The start was really weird, it wasn't smooth at all: the left hand row of cars moved off well enough, but something happened up front on the right, and I actually had to breathe the throttle not to run into the cars in front of me: I went to the outside, thinking I could beat the cars behind me to one and get the good line, but I'd lost too much momentum. I am guessing I lost 5-6 positions . . .

Very, very disappointed for Reid losing 4th gear. What a great talent and great guy. I think that the Runoffs are not easy. Congratulations to the podium guys . . . I can't wait to see the race on speedcasttv. I just hope that they don't show my start or my late adventure in T6.

    Allen,

They don't show either.....not much focus on the field. But, what a great race. In fact, all of the races have been great.....a lot of cliff hangers and great driving. And to you, congrats to you again!

    Lew3,
    Great job! Congratulations!

Congrats to the Polestar folks also.
Since Polestar is usually at our F2000/F1600 events, you should have them bring your FF along also. I'm sure Bill and Tim would welcome a rematch at WGI in October.

    Again, great job!

I'm sure there will be no shortage of great wine at the victory celebration.

Watched the entire race from the grandstand in Corner 5. Quite the battles going on throughout the pack until Bartz fried a distributor, Reid lost 4th gear, and Rubenzer had a left rear centerlock nut come loose. Congrats to all for the valient efforts.

Congratulations Bill! you must've had one of the most active FF seasons in the US this year. Coming from the f1600 LRP race direct to Wisconsin, missing most of practice/qualifying due to the gremlin: what a great finish.

Congrats to Lew Cooper III on a well deserved win. There are certain people you dont mind losing to and Lew is one of them, a nice guy, a class act and a great driver.

Bill said that on his warm up lap he knew he was in trouble, he could not get any heat in his tires,it was so cold out, he was running his Pro Series tires because of the troubles all week with the fuel pump, he did not get any time to test the new Goodyears so he wanted to race on tires he knew and felt comfortable with and that was the tires he has run all year. They took about 2 laps to come in and by then the leaders were long gone, but otherwise the Hoosier Spec tires were awesome.

Congrats also to Tim Kautz and Paul and Nick, you guys deserved better, that was a hell of a race and you guys never gave up.

I cant end without thanking Jim Little and Harry J. Martin of Driver's Services, what a job all week, coming from the Lime Rock race straight out here with a broken car and putting it on the podium, simply incredible, there is no better prep shop and certainly nobody I know who could have pulled this off, a Pro race win and a 2d at the Runoffs on consecutive weekends, that is simply amazing. Thank you guys so much.

    Tom,

Awesome photos on the FC thread. Any hope of seeing some FF shots here?

Congratulations to Bill on his marathon . . . and making the pro tires work so well . . . the track was really cold indeed, and even my soft tires didn't like the first two laps . . .

Even though I effed up a bit later in T6, I had so much fun in this race.
