This is the first time I've pulled my engine and, now that its out, I'd like to drain all the water from the block. Is there a plug somewhere that I hagen't seen?

I'm not looking at one right now so this is from memory. On the right (exhaust) side, at the rear just ahead of the trans mount ear about half way between top and bottom of the block there is a drain plug. Some engines have a bolt for a plug and some have a threaded allen head plug.

I believe some of the original Pintos had water temp sending units in that location.
