    Hi all,

Need to make a new one, my first.

Any recommendations for the kits available out there? I'm thinking of the Pennon.

    Thx, DR

Pennon is all I've had experience with (other than the old 2-part foams, which you really DON'T want...) and both seats we did worked out just great.

I just poured my pennon kit yesterday. A couple of things we would do differently are these:

When working with the dry beads and removing them from the bag to get the right amount, leave some extra in the bag as once you pour the goop into the bag, no matter how careful we were in getting the beads all the way to the bottom some simply would not join the others and stayed up toward the neck of the bag and will not be part of the seat in the end.

Make sure you remove as many folds in the bag as possible as that will make for a smoother seating surface to upholster over.
