    Default Ate' calipers

Going through boxes of parts that came with this Royale RP14 chassis and I found the original Ate' calipers, rusty, grimy and stuck. Anyone know what kits will fit them? (what are they off of?) '70 Super Beetle?
Ones on the car are Chinese, I guess we'd rather use the German ones if we could.

    Thanks

There were two versions of ATE caliper's used on the SV's Keith Averil has info on rebuild kits, and you might do a search here on Apex, as a few years ago I sent another guy the part # for the rebuild kit I used on mine. My SV is a '78, and has the smaller calip., and I believe your car does as well. I have useable extra's if you'd like; PM me. Super Bet was one source, and my smaller calip's were from the squareback sedan. Tom

I bought some Brazilian ones (they are VW Type 3) from a buggy shop tye season before I crashed mine. Nice Cad plated parts.

I also have a bucket of the german ones.

Thanks for the replies, I'll call Keith A. and ask him about the kits. If it doesn't work out it sounds lie we can use the Brazilian ones.
