F1000 Car available to test
The Formula 1000 Championship Series is making its Stohr F1000 promotional car available at regional races in the southeast for those drivers interested in the Series for 2012, to test out what this formula is all about.
This car finished first in its last race at Sebring and features Pro-Shift electronic paddle shifter, advanced aerodynamics and AiM data system with intrgrated steering wheel.
Below is a list of SCCA Regional race events available:
August 6 Daytona - double
Sept. 3 Sebring - 12 hour course
Sept. 24 Daytona
October 8 Roebling Road
October 22 Sebring - short course
Nov. 12 Palm Beach Int'l
Events are available on a first come first served basis, so secure your dates soon.
Prices are:
$2,500 for single race event & $3,500 for a double race event
Prices include transport of vehicle to event, crew & 1 set of tires (rains will be on hand if needed).
Does not include; race fuel (approx. $150), event entry fees (typically $250-350 depending on event) and any crash damage to the car (hopefully none).
