    Default Panasports

    Still looking for Panasports...or lighter.

Seems I have now missed the boat on the last two posts.

Anyone have some they would want to sell, or rent for the season perhaps?

The new prices aren't too painful - around $235 ea., I think.

The real problem is getting them. AFAIK, no one keeps many in stock to fit our cars, and getting them from troubled Japan can mean a long wait. I ordered a set months ago and hope they'll arrive within a few weeks. Prior to ordering them I watched vigilantly for some used wheels to come up for sale, but none did (other than occasional Turbo Compomotive parts).

It's not a case of no one stocking as much as sold out and waiting for more. Now, all the wheels (F/Ford) I ordered back in the winter, are sold. If I knew this back then, I would have ordered more. There seems to be a common problem where manufactures/importers have cut back on inventory since the 2008 financial issue. Can's blame them.
If Neil has some left, give him a call.

    Default Panasport Center Lock Wheels

What Keith said. Not knowing what the demand was going to be and the economy being what it is, I did not stock as many wheels this season as I had in past years. Making things worse, my new order of Panasport center lock wheels that was coming as been delayed. I have a call in to Panasport to try and get a new estimated time of arrivel.

Even the new Magalite wheels are in short supply. At this time I have 3 sets of new Magalite C/L wheels and 2 slightly used sets available (two of the new set may already be sold - waiting for a phone call today). I have 4 or 5 sets of bolt-on Ultralite wheels in stock if some one is looking for bolt-on wheels.

Doug, I'm interested. Sent you a PM.

Are they 4 lug or center locks?

    Thanks.

I'm sure someone with a 4 lug set up will grab them. If not, I'll consider modifying them to fit my center lock hubs. That shouldn't be too hard, right (with bushings inserts)?

The bolt circle is 3.0 inches and the offset is 3.5 inches. Weight: 9.0 lbs.

Reid, I sent you a email with some pics of the wheels. Let me know if you got it.

sorry, the center to center measurement from the two holes on any side of the square is 3.0 inches. the diagonal measurement (which would represent the diameter of the circle) is 4.25 inches. thanks for pointing that out.

In discussing these wheels with Reid Hazelton, they may or may not be FF panasports. They are not the ultralights that Reid was looking for (9.0 lbs). But they are still available if anyone else is interested.

Default New Panasport Center Lock Wheels

Hi - I talked to Panasport and it looks like our shipment of new Ultra-lite wheels (the standard FF wheel) will arrive at the end of this month. Do not have a delivery date yet for Maga-lite wheels. Still have some of those in stock.
