How hard would it be to get a sports racer in and out of it? How long of a car would it hold?

    Default seventy Foot Ramps

    would probably be enough!!

Dean, the best way to laod a SR in and out of the truck would be to mount a "cherry picker" engine hoist on one of the two rear corners of the van. Then lift the car into the truck. A decent engine hoist is only a couple of hundred bucks and works great for this kind of work.

Not only can it move the car in and out, but will be handy for engine changes and lifting the car to place on a roll-around.

That's how I would do it.

What is the maximum length of a car that the van can hold? What is the overall length of the van and the length from the back to the top of the windshield?

Hi: The inside will take a 14.5 foot long car However the floor is not flat there are wheel arches that are 4 inches high. A formula car fits perfect the wheel arches are between the wheels. but a sports racer or a production car that has 1 or 2 inches of ground clearence would need the floor raised on one end. I hauled a cooper formula jr, it fits fine but the ramps had to be blocked up 4 inches to clear the transition from the ramps to the floor and the rally car had no problems . The floor is all aluminum and a formula car has lots of room around it, so it is easy to work on a formula car in the truck if the weather is bad.
