VIR this weekend
Anyone else surprised only 1 FF is registered for the FF race at VIR this weekend? I realize the schedule is less than favorable but I figured more people would jump on the opportunity to get their car on the track of the first event that is only a month away.
i am also surprised. we where going to try to make it down but my engine just arrived & my teamate's car is still in transit from west coast.
a lot of work to do before 1st event but we are looking forward to seeing everyone down there

Ouch...I'm totally shocked. We are doing the test day but that's it.
This event the last few years has had horrible open wheel turnout. 2years back it wad 16 or total between all the open and sr classes and we were combined into one group. A single regional while everyone else can triple dip isn't any fun.

We did this event in October when it is pretty much the same schedule and it wasn't much fun.
We will be there for the test day only.

I might have to come up for part of the test day. I was only going to do the weekend because I'm one of those evil triple dippers with the srf now.

The RFR2000 is # 10 FC from the RFR team out of Miami
Cool. Seaber's FS car should sound pretty good now. Fuel injected and putting down a LOT of power. Jaceks car was in pieces when I saw it today. Looked like an engine change.
