Default Installing sports racer body on an FE?

Anyone ever put together instructions on installing the sports racer body? Or is it so self explanatory that I shouldn't be asking for assistance?

    Default

Our car came as a sports racer, and we ran it in IMSA Lites in 2007. Have run as FE since. The conversion is not too difficult, but a bit much to do trackside to run FE and CSR on same weekend. Feel free to call me at 704-502-3654 and I can help walk you through what I know. Peter Schneider

    Default Sports racer conversion

The installation is not compilcated, just time consuming. Do a mock up first (lots of race tape, shims and wood blocks.

BTW I ran my car as a formula car and as a sports racer at the MidO runoffs, two people did the conversion in 20 minutes, both ways.

Default Do you have to remove the front wheels?

To put on the closed wheel body do you have to remove the front wheels and suspension? I.e., do you have to remove the side panels of the closed wheel body before installing the closed wheel body?

    Many thanks.

    Default closed wheel body

You don't have to remove any wheels, or even jack the car up.

Default So the open wheeled side panels stay on

Jim, that must mean the open wheeled body side panels stay on and are not removed?
